She has worked in various leadership roles including the Advanced Practice Nurse Role for the Regional Stroke Program, The Ottawa Hospital several years prior to retiring from full-time work. She retired from full-time work 4 yrs ago and enjoys working part-time as a Nurse Immunizer for Public Health and a Care Manager for Nurse On Board.
Andrea was a Parish Nurse at Orleans United Church (Ottawa) for three years, 2019-2021. She completed the Foundation Course in July, 2021. She is a member of the CAPNM Research Committee & is very proud to be one of the authors of the recent scoping paper that critically appraised & synthesized 43 parish nurse research studies & was published in the Canadian Journal of Nursing Research (2021).
