Her PhD research explored how youth with bipolar disorder described their understanding of and experiences of spirituality. She would like to continue working with young, diverse, and vulnerable populations in research that facilitates the integration of spirituality into mental health care programs and practices. Her work aims to raise awareness to the importance of the spiritual dimension and how it can be used to improve mental health.
