AGM Discussion Item – CAPNM MAiD Guidance Document

One of the discussion items at the AGM will be the proposed addition of the Canadian Association for Parish Nursing Ministry (CAPNM) Guidance for Parish Nurses Encountering Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) document as a resource on CAPNM's website.

Many drafts of the document have previously been shared with members, along with invitations to Town Hall discussions. Because this is an important topic for our membership, we want to ensure that all members have the opportunity to review the  latest draft of the document, ask questions, and share their perspectives before the AGM discussion and decision-making process.

An additional Town Hall meeting will be held on June 8th at 7 PM Eastern Time (8 PM Atlantic, 5 PM Mountain, 4 PM Pacific)  to continue the conversation and provide members with another opportunity to participate in dialogue regarding the document and provide feedback about next steps.
