Margaret Clark, D. Min, is a Certified Spiritual Care Practitioner & Supervisor -Educator in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) within the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care/Association canadienne de soins spirituels (CASC/ACSS). Over the course of five decades she has developed adult enrichment & outreach programs in rural faith communities, worked as a hospital chaplain &hospital -based Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) supervisor, & taught graduate level courses in theological reflection & spiritual assessment. Margaret is one of the founding members of the Canadian Association for Parish Nursing Ministry (CAPNM). Together with Dr. Joanne Olson, Professor of Nursing at the University of Alberta, she co-taught academically credited theory, practice & CPE courses for Parish Nurses & co-authored a book titled Nursing Within a Faith Community : Promoting Health in Times of Transition. In her semi-retirement years, Margaret served as one of a team of Instructors for Parish Nursing Institutes offered at Taylor University Seminary in Edmonton. She enjoys opportunities to serve others through spiritual care, CPE mentoring, spiritual direction & creative collaboration. Contemplation in action is at the core of Margaret’s passion and life commitment.
