Join us once again in Eastern Canada to share stories of parish nurses ministering during the calm and troubled waters of peoples’ lives. The conference takes place at the newly renovated Crandall University in Moncton, NB from June 17-19 2011. The education day is Friday, June 17th when our keynote speaker, Dr. Deborah Patterson, Executive Director of the International Parish Nurse Resource Center, will speak on Navigating the Tides of Change. In the afternoon, Dr. Nancy Nason-Clark, who is affiliated with the Muriel McQueen Fergusson Centre for Family Violence Research and a Professor of Sociology at the University of New Brunswick, will address Shattering the Holy Hush on Domestic Violence:  Harnessing the Power of Caring in Faith Communities.   In addition to concurrent education sessions (two of which will be presented in French), song and worship, the Silent Auction, Tea for Two, and a Walk for Parish Nursing, there will be a few surprise guests and much fun!
